Try not to take pictures of your property at night. Natural light creates the best-looking photos. Before the sun is setting is usually an ideal time to take pictures of the inside of your home.

Avoid having an unmade bed, a dirty kitchen, a messy bathroom and tons of personal things in your photos. Make sure that you clear away personal belongings before you take the shot. For bedroom shots, put away any clothing or random objects which may get into the photo.

Focus on the Home

Remember that you’re selling the house, not the furniture. When you take a picture of each room, focus on the built-in details of that room. Use photos to highlight features of the property. Take pictures of the entire room so that people won't wonder what you are trying to hide.

Use a Decent Camera

I recommend that you should invest in a high-quality digital camera to take pictures when listing your home. Along with a good camera, you may want to invest in a tripod to hold it steady and prevent blurry shots.

Take More Photos

I suggest that you take more pictures of your home than you have to because you will have more options available when picking out photos for the listing.
